Madi Rae is an oil and acrylic painter based in Dallas, Texas. Madi started painting and drawing at a young age and her passion has only grown over the years. Madi Rae has combined her love for antiques and design with her passion for art through painting her pieces to match unique frames. She believes art and the frame it lives in should compliment and complete each other.
Her work is rooted in observation and intuition. Each painting begins with a frame rather than a blank canvas. She works primarily in oil and acrylic on canvas, often returning to themes of landscape, nature, and the collision of colors.
Madi's paintings are held in private collections across the United States. Some of her pieces have displayed in Daum Gallery (Dallas), Hotel ZaZa (Houston), Synergy Sports (Atlanta) and Mayo Clinic (Jacksonville, Fl). She accepts a limited number of commissions each year and ships originals worldwide.
